Our Story

We pride ourselves on thinking outside of the box when it comes to health and wellness. We genuinely care about the health and wellness of neighboring underprivileged communities throughout Central Ohio. We aim to help people find their way through life when it comes to being physically fit and healthy.

We provide activities that will help our community to adapt and learn their body. As well as discovering some things that are detrimental to the lifestyle they desire. We believe the more conscience you are of your health; your future will be brighter.

We Promote

Education

Education of the body is key to a healthy being.

Financial Literacy

Efficiently managing money as a young adult.

Mental Health Awareness

The importance of Adaptability, Mental Agility Self-Control and Confidence.

Community Outreach

Building a stress-free environment conducive to a healthy and happy life.

Alumni Flag Football Series

This and future events will allow our youth to see through football, it is possible to maintain a healthy life physically, mentally, and socially. By the actions of all the alumni participating in this event as well as the alumni who plan to come and spectate, it reminds them to stay conscience of their health and fitness.

Summer Sports Camp for Children

Our summer program aids in shaping in future healthy adults.

A Letter from the Executive Director

We are a non profit 501c3 that is focused on delivering sports and health programming to children and adults in underprivileged areas. In our eyes, the sky is the limit as far as things we would like to do.

Our team consists of individuals who think outside the norm when creating ways to stay healthy. Just recently, we hosted an alumni flag football game for Linden McKinley High School. We had an abundance of participation and expect three times as many participants at the next scheduled event. We are currently deliberating with other schools to create a league for alumni to play against each other. The plan is to branch out into other sports so that we can reach as many people as possible.

One major goal we also have is to host a kid’s sports/health and wellness camp on a very large scale. We want to create a safe environment for kids to go to in the summer/ after school. This will give youth  the chance to grow mentally and physically thus giving them the tools they need to excel in today’s society.

These are just a few things that are on our list to begin in order to create change in our community. We are here to think out of the box to get people excited about health again. I’m looking forward to interacting with communities and building strong relationships adding value and bringing awareness of health, wellness and fitness.

All the best,

Joshua Turnbo
